Market Manager/Lead Promotional Specialist Needed

We are a national event marketing and promotions agency seeking a Market Manager/Promotional Team Leader for events in the Boston Metro area. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for the multi-tasker who enjoys coordinating events, managing people, and working promotions.

We work mainly in the consumer beverage industry (beer, wine, spirits, water, new age beverage, etc.) so familiarity with these types of events is a plus, but not necessary. The ideal candidate is someone who will be able to staff, manage and organize events, work lots of promotions and be an effective communicator with our clients and customers. This position involves staffing, managing and working promotions primarily in the off-premise (chain stores, independent liquor stores, supermarkets. etc). If you have a roster of staff that you manage for other promotional programs or if you have experience with staffing/working promotions you are encouraged to apply. Some of the qualities we are looking for in a manager are below:

Communication – Effectively communicate with agency, client and retail staff on upcoming events. Quick returned emails and phone calls.

Reliability – You and your staff are on time and prepared with all supplies needed for every event.

Organization – Having all of the proper promotional materials needed, brand training and awareness of the product prior to your events.

Customer relations – Friendly interaction and communication with customers and clients.

Training – You and your staff are well versed on the products being promoted to help drive sales

The position is part time and home office based reporting to our divisional office. As a market manager you must have reliable transportation to distribute supplies and get to events, a computer with internet access to upload reports and recaps and a digital camera to take pictures at events.

Compensation: $20-25

Location: Hartford, CT
