Hospitality Staffing Network Development Intern

Reports to: Affiliate Sales Coordinator

General Description

The Network Development Intern will perform the following duties:

a) Utilize website listing national hospitality staffing companies’ phone numbers to make phone calls to obtain the following information about the decision maker for each company:

- Name and title

- Direct phone number

- Email address

- Fax number

b) Update database with all of the above information for each company.

c) Send out faxes, print media, emails, and direct mail marketing to each contact as obtained above.

Reporting

• Maintain an Excel spreadsheet with updated record and submit to management on a weekly basis. Ensure accuracy of records, as this directly affects personal compensation and overall business productivity.

• Attend weekly company meetings and communicate progress with colleagues.

Knowledge & Skills

Candidate should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships. In addition, he/she should be able to communicate clearly and professionally on the phone. Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to learn CRM software (Salesforce) required.

A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required. This person must quickly learn the product and the market.

Prefer a responsible student working on a business degree (sales, marketing, or business development preferred since this will be applicable experience) with technical aptitude.

Compensation

• $2 for each complete record obtained (as verified by the Sales Coordinator in his calls).

• College credit avail
