problem My geovision 4 unit multicam (Bensenville)

Hi looking for some1 who can fix my camera system. It shows as video lost. I had a friend reinstall xp and the geovision software thinking that would correct the problem but it still won't show picture. at startup it shows an error " direct draw create overlay failed" and the videolost "beep" Email me at rjrj81@comcast.net
